Reporter Guide

In the Proof of Neutrality (PoN) Relay, a reporter plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and security of the protocol. The primary function of a reporter is to scrutinize the activities of proposers and builders, ensuring that they adhere to the rules and regulations of the network.

Through a process of consistent monitoring and validation, reporters help to ensure that the network remains secure and trustworthy, and that any wrongdoing is detected, reported, and met with consequences.

Reporters are incentivized with rewards for reporting wrongdoing, follow these instructions to start earning.

First Step: Connect wallet

Open the PoN dApp here.

Second Step: Register Your Address as a Reporter

Make sure that you register the address you want to report from and receive reporting rewards. This ensures that you’re properly set up to track on-chain data and receive rewards for detecting and reporting malicious activity.

Success

Once you’ve successfully registered your address as a reporter, you’re ready to move on to the off chain portion.

Once this is completed, you are ready to start examining on-chain data and reporting violations. By doing so, you’ll earn rewards and contribute to the overall security and integrity of the PoN Relay. You can track your rewards through the PoN Relay interface.
